Dr. Aziz Huraysi is a distinguished academic, researcher, and leader who has combined higher education at prestigious international universities with practical experience in some of the Kingdom’s most prominent hospitals and research centers.

He began his academic journey at the University of Manchester – United Kingdom, where he specialized in pathology and medical research. He then added further academic depth at the University of Oxford through a specialized program in Systematic Review, enhancing his position as a researcher capable of critical evaluation and analysis according to the highest international standards. He also studied at King Abdulaziz University, one of the most prestigious universities in Saudi Arabia, in the field of public policy and executive management, combining medical science with decision-making. Today, he continues his academic presence as a faculty member at the College of Medicine – King Khalid University, where he teaches, supervises, and leads advanced research in stem cells, genomics, and precision medicine.

On the professional level, Dr. Huraysi has held several prominent positions that enriched his expertise and broadened his horizons. He worked in the management of the university hospital laboratories at King Khalid University and contributed to the development of activities at the university’s research center. He also joined the King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center, the region’s leading medical and research institution, in addition to his work at Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Group, gaining advanced practical experience in medical and administrative environments managed according to the highest international standards.

Dr. Huraysi crowned this journey by founding OncologyGen, a scientific institution specializing in cancer research and precision medicine, presenting a unique model that combines deep academic vision with pioneering leadership. Through this entity, he seeks to bring about a transformative shift in early cancer diagnosis and the development of targeted therapies, merging science and management to make his mark both locally and globally.

He has been praised as an ambitious, inspiring figure with an exceptional presence, viewed as a leader capable of designing projects with both local and global impact.
